![]() 6. What is a Plan Administrator and what are their duties?

Much like an executor is to your will, a Plan Administrator is an individual you select to carry out your Legacy Plan after your death. You must choose at least two friends or family members to entrust with this responsibility. After your death, they will unlock your account and access the information you stored there by going to Plan Your Legacy and entering designated security codes. How much or how little they do is entirely up to you and your Plan Administrators. At the very least, we recommend that your Plan Administrator be charged with making friends and family aware of your wishes according to the information you placed in your secured section of the website. In particular, they should communicate any predetermined funeral arrangements and inform the medical community about your desires for organ donation as soon as it becomes important to disseminate this information. Beyond simple announcements, many people will also actually help with arrangements to see that your wishes are actually carried out.
