On Wednesday, December 11, 2019, Ragnar Relay, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, with the support of Heritage Law Group announced its newest trail running event in 2020 to be held at the famed Lock 4 Park in Gallatin, TN.
Ragnar Trail Tennessee Sprint presented by Heritage Law Group will be held on September 12, 2020 and will be the first of its kind as a newly developed “trail sprint” format. Traditionally, Ragnar trail teams of 4 or 8 runners run three predetermined loops over two days. The new “sprint” format will be a shortened one-day format where teams of 4 or 2 will complete 2 predetermined loops.
“It is a bite-sized version of the full trail relay with all same great elements of team, fun and challenge,” said Jennifer Black, VP of Marketing at Ragnar. “There is no shortage of beauty or team bonding over the 40-ish miles of trail.”
